Aboriginal women make up a majority of senior management roles and we have a number of programs that support the development of young women within the AES such as the Cotton Blossoms program which provides regular training, mentoring and leadership development to women 25 years old and under. AES is made up of 95% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and small number of people from diverse cultural backgrounds. 90% of senior staff are Aboriginal people, 55% are women.
