AES designs and delivers high-impact tailored pre-employment programs that provide the required skills, experience and understandings required for someone to be job-ready for a specific role or industry.
AES works closely with employers to design programs that meet the needs of the employer, which often includes accredited training. AES has developed a partnership with the Aboriginal Pathways TAFE NSW team to design and deliver accredited training delivered by Aboriginal trainers. For a number of years, AES has been highly successful in sourcing, training and placing large numbers of Aboriginal employees into industries such as:
- Construction – through the AES iTradies program
- Civil construction – through AES iCivil program
- Rail/Trains – through the AES iRail and iTransport
- Traffic Controlling – through the iTraffic program
AES typically offers these programs through a one week or two week residential blocks, and involves the employer in the delivering of the program. All candidates that are placed into employment through these initiatives and their supervisors are offered mentoring and support for a minimum period of six months.
